Dr Peter Bray
Vascular and Endovascular Surgeon
MBBS(UWA) FRACS(Vascular)Dr Peter Bray (MBBS FRACS Vascular) was born and raised in Perth, graduating with an MBBS from the University of Western Australia. Peter completed extensive vascular and endovascular surgical training throughout Australia and internationally, qualifying as a Consultant Vascular Surgeon in 2005.
Peter is Head of Department of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery at St John of God Hospital Subiaco and a Consultant Vascular Surgeon at a number of hospitals throughout Western Australia.
Peter is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, The Australia and New Zealand Society of Vascular Surgeons and the Australasian College of Phlebology. Peter is Vascular Surgical representative on a number of committees and is a strong advocate of and participant in clinical audit, ensuring that patient care and outcomes are reported and benchmarked internationally.
Peter’s special interests include open and endovascular management of cerebrovascular disease, complex aortic endovascular intervention and state of the art endovascular management of peripheral vascular disease and all modalities of venous treatment. He is passionate in his commitment to providing the most appropriate treatment for the individual.
Peter’s commitment to the advancement of best practice, evidence based vascular and endovascular treatment extends well beyond his own practice with regular attendance and invitations to speak nationally and internationally. Peter is active in providing education, has published articles in a number of medical journals and contributes to medical research and forums.
Peter and his team have worked hard to develop a patient focused multidisciplinary practice that provides excellence in communication, diagnosis, management and streamlined care.

Dr Geoffrey Shulman

LRCP (Edin) LRCS (Edin) LRCP&S (Glas)Dr Geoffrey Shulman LRCP (Edin) LRCS (Edin) LRCP&S (Glas) has been an integral member of the Vascular Solutions clinical team since 2016.
A highly experienced and skilled Phlebologist, Dr Shulman has successfully performed Ultrasound Guided Foam Sclerotherapy for thousands of patients.
Dr Shulman achieves outstanding results, with our audits demonstrating consistent success rates of total venous occlusion of greater than 90% of treated veins.

Western Australian Sonographer of the Year 2019James is an experienced and talented specialist vascular sonographer who has an exceptional eye for detail, utilising his clinical knowledge and skills to provide outstanding non-invasive duplex imaging, an integral component in the accurate assessment of vascular disease and support of interventional procedures.
As our Chief Vascular Sonographer, James has worked closely with Dr Bray for 15 years, training and leading an outstanding team of specialist vascular sonographers who provide the full complement of arterial and venous vascular duplex studies including:
Carotid, DVT, Upper Limb, Lower Limb, Aorto-Iliac, Renal, Visceral, Ankle Brachial Indices, Toe Pressures and Functional Exercise Treadmill Studies.
James is an active member of the Australian Sonographers Association Special Interest Group committee and frequently presents at ASA conferences and webinars.
James’ outstanding contributions to vascular imaging and education in Australia were recognised in 2019 by the Australian Sonographer Association when he received the Western Australian Sonographer of Year Award.
