While we endeavour to provide same day appointments for ultrasound and surgical consultations for very elderly and country patients, due to the length of the time it takes to perform and report on an ultrasound study, it is not otherwise possible to perform same day ultrasounds and consultations.

Depending on the number and complexity of ultrasound scans requested, your appointment may take between 15 minutes and 90 minutes. Following completion of the scan, our specialist vascular sonographers complete a comprehensive worksheet using the detailed information gained at the time of scanning, which is then given to Dr Bray to report upon. The results will be discussed with you directly by Dr Bray at your next scheduled consultation.  You will be advised of the follow up consultation date and time when you receive your confirmation of your upcoming ultrasound appointment.
